About THOMAS

Our story begins in the fifties, in the Veneto region, more precisely in Magrè Schio, a small hamlet situated in the province of Vicenza. The protagonist is Giuseppe Tomasi, at the time little more than 20 year old, who, with ingenuity and dedication began to lay the foundation to realize his dream. In its modest mechanical workshop he begins to design and produce the first miter saws. Over the years the company expands and begins to produce equipment for garages and lathes. Thus it was born what is still known in Italy and in the world as THOMAS that quickly expands nationally and globally. In the mid-70s' the company focuses on the design of radial and band saws. The son follows in the footsteps of his father, Cav. Tomasi, and with passion and substance carries on the family business.
Today is born the group STHEMMA , run by Tomasi family, with more than 60 years of excellence and a wide commercial network port in the world experience, reliability and security of brand machinery THOMAS and range of blades in tape and disk WAL-ZER .
